Volodymyr Rybak: The problem of gas price for Ukraine will be solved after the presidential elections in Russia
MP of Ukraine, First Deputy Chairman of the Party of Regions Volodymyr Rybak said that the problem of Russian gas price for Ukraine will be solved after the presidential elections in the Russian Federation. He said it in the Verkhovna Rada on Wednesday, February 22.
According to him, the issue of gas prices is one of the most important in relations between Ukraine and Russia. Volodymyr Rybak noted that the current gas price of 560 dollars per thousand cubic meters makes Ukrainian enterprises uncompetitive.
However, he said that during the recent visit to Ukraine of the State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin were discussed the prospects of solving the gas problem between the countries. "I heard during the visit of the State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin that these issues will be addressed," the MP said.
"The presidential election are coming to the end, materials for meetings of the Presidents of Ukraine and Russia are being prepared, and all of the existing economic problems will be solved. There are many technical issues, need to be revised both in Russia and Ukraine," Volodymyr Rybak summed up.
