Member of Parliament, the Party of Regions Deputy Head, Head of the Subcommittee on Building and Architecture of the VRU Committee on Building, Urban Planning, Housing and Municipal Services and Regional Policy, Minister of Building and Regional Development of the Opposition government Volodymyr Yatsuba is convinced that the economic crisis should help the builders to come to reason, stop building elite dwelling and begin to build affordable apartment houses for young families. According to the politician, for any young family the necessity of purchasing a flat hinges on the price issue because the developers supply only expensive apartments, while young families should be offered affordable flats.

“It is necessary to build affordable apartment houses. Such flat or house should cost not more than 50 thousand dollars. And such habitation should be built not only in Kyiv but also in the regions of Ukraine”, V. Yatsuba underlined.

The Party of Regions Deputy Head marked as well that affordable apartment houses should be built for maturing young people.

“Having lived in this affordable dwelling for 10-20 years, people will be able to save up money for better apartments”, Volodymyr Yatsuba summed up.
