Speaking at the protest meeting against joining NATO, the deputy, the member of The Party of Regions parliamentary fraction Nestor Shufrich stated that The Party of Regions will fight power brutal policy, directed on bringing Ukraine to NATO>

“President Yuschenko, the Head of the Parliament Yatsenyuk and Prime Minister Tymoshenko signed the addressing to Brussels with the membership request without saying nothing about it. We will not allow the thousand year common history with Russia was destroyed by some beekeeper. That’s why NATO membership consequences will be worsening the relations with Russia”, - said Nestor Shufrich.

“We should do everything the people’s voice to be heard, its will – to be counted. Only people could decide, where is Ukraine heading”, - stated the deputy.

“The Party of Regions will keep on blocking Parliament work unless the letter to NATO General Secretary will be recalled. We will not allow to split us with our brother Russian people”, - he added.
