Anatoly Kinakh: Huge latent funds deficit at the rate of 4.7% GDP is inherent in the 2008 state budget
People’s Deputy, the Party of Regions parliamentary faction member, the USPP president Anatoly Kinakh noted that huge latent funds deficit at the rate of 4,7% GDP was inherent in the 2008 state budget, ‘RBC-Ukraine’ informs.
He stated that, by the USPP estimate, 4,7% of GDP involved UAH 12 billion of NAK ‘Naftogaz’ state obligations and 12 billion of extra payments for ‘Oschadbank’ depositors. At that Anatoly Kinakh marked that such situation entails additional inflationary risks in the country: ‘Consumer prices increase in January by 2.9% is the largest inflation growth index during the last years’.
Taking this into account, the USPP forecasts risks of inflation exacerbating and possibility of occurring worst-case scenarios for this index rise to 15% at the end of the year.
