Yulia Tymoshenko is trying to use her-style methods of demagogy to suppress the Party of Regions’ demand about the immediate rise in wages by UAH 200 for the poorest people and pensioners already from July 1. We reiterate that parliament will not go on vacation until it makes the government help the poorest.

In reply to the statement by Tymoshenko that allegedly the Party of Regions members cut wages at their enterprises and make the government increase them, we state expressly and unambiguously:

no enterprise owned by the Party of Regions members, pays such beggary wages as those seen in Ukraine’s educational and medical industry owing to Yulia Tymoshenko.

If the present government wants to upgrade the level of salary in the budgetary sphere to the one existent at the private enterprises owned by the Party of Regions members, then the salary should be raised not by UAH 200, but three or even four times.
