Viktor Yanukovych: “Our Ukraine” should withdraw its ministers from the government

The Party of Regions Leader Viktor Yanukovych considers that “Our Ukraine” should withdraw its ministers from the government. He said about it during today's working visit to Lugansk region.

Expressing his position concerning the demand of President and “Our Ukraine” party headed by him to the party members MPs to recall their signatures under the statement on creation of the parliamentary coalition, the opposition Leader has noted that in his opinion such a decision of V.Yuschenko and “Our Ukraine” is one of the ways to avoid the responsibility for the present situation in the state and step away from the government and prime minister.

“If such a decision is made, then the ministers should be withdrawn”, V.Yanukovych said, adding that “being in opposition and simultaneously wanting to see ministers from “Our Ukraine” within the government are totally incomprehensible decisions and actions”.

As the Party of Regions Head pointed out, today V.Yuschenko has already understood his former mistakes when he twice brought in Yu.Tymoshenko’s candidature to the post of prime minister. “But it is too late. He should have thought earlier about it”, V.Yanukovych said, adding that “now it is ridiculous to make such decisions”.
